About

BEP Consulting was set up by Brendan Boyle to assist building professionals and homeowners deliver low carbon and energy efficient buildings.  

Brendan has a BA Hons in Architecture from John Moore’s University Liverpool, Postgraduate Certificate in Building Performance (Energy Efficiency in Design) from TU Dublin and a Postgraduate Diploma in Thermal Bridge Assessment from TU Dublin.

Brendan is a certified passive house designer, Seai registered as a Domestic and Non-Domestic BER Assessor, Registered Seai technical advisor for heat pump applications. Brendan is also on the NSAI register of approved thermal modellers.

We have accreditation with the following professional bodies.

NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland) is Ireland’s official standards body. NSAI are the national certification authority for CE Marking and provide a certification services to enable business to demonstrate that Irish goods and services conform to applicable standards

SEAI is Ireland's
national sustainable energy authority. We work with householders, businesses,
communities and government to create a cleaner energy future.

The Passive House Institute (PHI) is an independent research institute that has played an especially crucial role in the development of the Passive House concept - the only internationally recognised, performance-based energy standard in construction
